OORT x LayerZero: Expanding $OORT Across Chains

OORT is thrilled to integrate LayerZero, the interop protocol. With this integration, OORT tokens ($OORT) can now be accessed across multiple blockchain ecosystems and protocols without requiring users to mint new tokens or swap assets between chains – starting with Solana and TON. The decision was made by the community through a governance vote, where Solana and TON were chosen over Ethereum Layer-2s. This enhances liquidity, accessibility, and interoperability for OORT token holders and the broader decentralized ecosystem.

Governance Vote Proposal on 800 Million $OORT Burn

Proposed by OAPA (OORT Asia-Pacific Alliance), and acknowledged by the OORT Foundation, we now invite the OORT community to vote on a significant proposal: the burning of 800 million locked $OORT tokens, which are currently locked for mining rewards.

Given the current market conditions, the miners' community has proposed the immediate burning of these tokens upon unlocking. This action aims to enhance transparency, strengthen community trust, and increase scarcity and token value.
